Kosher Scene with Chaim Szmidt – Cheese excursion to Zabar’s

On Monday, January 3, 2011, I had the great pleasure of exploring kosher cheeses at both Zabar’s and Fairway Market in NYC. I have never met anyone else who can (1) keep up with me in a store and (2) enjoy a supermarket as much as a museum of fine art.

Chaim has lived on three continents and knows many cultures, which is the recipe for a fearless connoisseur; Rabbi Szmidt not only knows several cultures and languages, but he also understands and appreciates their foods.
