Sunday, January 9th, begins a series of classes addressing consumer and industry issues in kashrus. This 10-week workshop is led by Rabbi Yosef Wikler at the Bnai Jacob shul of Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Rabbi Wikler is the editor in chief of KASHRUS Magazine. This week’s introductory session covers the following:
1. Understanding Kosher
· What can I get out of keeping Kosher?
· Evolution of Kashrus and What’s Different Today
· Ethics and Kashrus
· Setting Your Own Personal Standards of Kosher
The workshops are held Sundays beginning Jan 9, 2011 from 1:30 to 2:45 pm for 10 sessions at Bnai Jacob 401 9th Street, between 6 and 7th Avenues.
